I strive for the forms I create to engage with the rhythms of life and the existence of all living matter. My art is ultimately an expressive representation of nature's beauty in its primary elements, shapes, and forms. My digital creations allow me to connect to symmetry and to the mathematical patterns found in snowflakes, flowers, plants, as well as to the detailed patterns of the microscopic world. My oil paintings consist of various forms of concentric circles that are reminiscent of tree rings, or ripples in water, circles to which infants are drawn to, perhaps because a mother can provide survival with her circular nipples. The list of nature’s forms is endless, but it is a list that I draw on to connect to the world and its sensual embodied forms. An icompendium Site
